El Bambú (Guadua Angustifolia) como material estructural empleado en el diseño de Invernaderos tipo Almería

In the set of Mediterranean greenhouses the wood is the most widespread structural element, though it is not less true than this one starts being replaced at present with the galvanized steel. This substitution is not compatible with the change of productive - constructive model, in which one seeks to leave a viable environment the future generations, not exceeding the capacity of load, turning this premise into one of the principal worries of the humanity. In this sense, the work that one presents arises as search of the possibilities of the species of bamboo Guadua (Guadua angustifolia), as a viable and sustainable alternative of the material for the design of greenhouses. In this respect, this initiative has consisted of the study of the possibilities of the Guadua as structural material for the greenhouses type vine arbor or Almería. For which it has been necessary to realize a review of the works related to the above mentioned species of bamboo for his characterization as material.%En el conjunto de invernaderos mediterráneos la madera es el elemento estructural más extendido, aunque no es menos cierto que ésta empieza a ser sustituida en la actualidad por el acero galvanizado. Esta sustitución no es compatible con el cambio de modelo productivo-constructivo, en el que se busca dejar a las futuras generaciones un medio ambiente viable, no excediendo la capacidad de carga, convirtiéndose esta premisa en una de las principales preocupaciones de la humanidad. En ese sentido, el trabajo que se presenta surge como búsqueda de las posibilidades de la especie de bambú Guadua (Guadua angustifolia), como una alternativa viable y sostenible del material para el diseño de invernaderos. En este sentido, esta iniciativa ha consistido en el estudio de las posibilidades de la Guadua como material estructural para los invernaderos tipo parral o Almería. Para lo cual ha sido necesario realizar una revisión de los trabajos relacionados con dicha especie de bambú para su caracterización como material.
