You've gotta hand it to those comedians at the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) who posted a roadside photo to Twitter and Facebook of a family of Big Foots-or would that be Big Feet?-frolicking in the snow on New Year's Day. As you can see, there they are as captured by a highway patrol camera near a grove of trees. The posting read, "We might have spotted a family of Sasquatches on SR 260 near Heber this afternoon. What do you think?" Well, some of the responses were nothing short of hilarious. For example: "Ha! You're all superstitious. Clearly they're Wookies!" "Are they signed up for Obamacare?" "Comin' back from their New Year's cave party. Probably all hungover." Thousands of people responded to the postings before Tim Tait, an ADOT spokesperson, admitted that the photo was a hoax, telling the Hujfington Post, "We definitely have a sense of humor here at ADOT. We try to really not push it too far and don't get snarky or mean, but we do try to have a little bit of fun with people on our Facebook and Twitter feeds."
