Fred Fullerton. What can one say that perhaps isn't already known? 'Avuncular', 'full of beans', and 'on top of the job', are just some expressions that spring to mind. And today's meeting affirms the ongoing privilege it has become to interview 'chiefs with history' - which, in Fred's case began in Croxteth, Liverpool, as a 15-year-old school leaver c. 1965. Naturally, and in time-honoured fashion, Fullerton's entre to Cinema began several years earlier - 'helping out' with canopy and quad changes at his local ABC - before turning Saturday Morning Monitor for the ABC Minors' Club.
