The land-use information system(LUIS)is a special geographical information system developed under the support of the geographical information system(GIS). It effectively combines the quantitative analysis with space analysis, mixes the feature of the land-use data figure de- scription, achieves the mutual transfer of the data figure, and provides some effective methods for the quantitative research and space analysis.
