However, in exceptional cases with valid, well-defined reasons, extra time can be provided for registration so that incomplete Reach dossiers submitted to Echa by the deadline may be completed later.rnThe exceptional procedure is not an automatic deadline extension system. Companies need to inform Echa of their circumstances in advance and must prove that the delay is caused by reasons beyond the company's control. More information will be provided by Echa in September.
