Tencel for denim fabrics

About 800 million pairs of jeans are produced around the world every year. The addition of 25% Tencel lyocell fibers to conventional cotton considerably improves the environmental profile of jeans. At the PV Denim fair in May 2012 in Paris/France, 20% of the exhibitors of PV Denim had Tencel in their collections. The Tencel fiber producer Lenzing AG, Len- zing/Austria, draws on the latest findings and best technology available for the production of eco-friendly jeans.
