In situ hydrolyzed acetals were coupled with in situ generated allyl boronates in a one-pot procedure, affording regio- and stereodefined homoallyl alcohols, epoxides and amino alcohols.rnApplication of organoboronates has revitalized the field of selective allylation reactions in modern organic synthesis. The selective synthesis based on this chemistry requires access to highly regio- and stereoselective methods for preparation of functionalized allyl boronates. However, purification of the functionalized allyl boronates is often problematic.
