The aim of EUROGYPSUM is to promote the interests of the European gypsum industry and ensure that there is awareness at a European level of the contribution the gypsum industry makes to society in general and to the built environment in particular. Every two or three years a congress is held including workshops on subjects of scientific, technical or economic interest for the gypsum industry. The 26th EUROGYPSUM Congress was held in Edinburgh on 22—24 June 2006. For the year 2007, again a number of topics are on the agenda of EUROGYPSUM.%Das Ziel von EUROGYPSUM ist es, die Interessen der europäischen Gipsindustrie zu vertreten und sicherzustellen, dass in Europa ein Bewusstsein dafür besteht, welchen Beitrag die Gipsindustrie für die Gesellschaft im Allgemeinen und für die gebaute Umwelt im Besonderen leistet. Alle zwei bis drei Jahre wird ein Kongress einschließlich Workshops zu Themen von wissenschaftlichem, technischem und wirtschaftlichem Interesse für die Gipsindustrie veranstaltet. Der 26. Kongress von EUROGYPSUM fand vom 22. bis 24. Juni 2006 in Edinburgh statt. Im Jahr 2007 stehen wieder eine Reihe von Themen auf der Tagesordnung von EUROGYPSUM.
