New Burners

TEUTONIA Zement, Hannover, has received a new UNITHERM - M.A.S. kiln burner for an increase of solid alternative fuels (Fig.).The 2500 t/d plant with precalciner has exchanged the old kiln burner for a modern firing technology for an accurate flame adjustment of the coal and alternative fuel mix. The new developed "pneumo-in-jector-v2" is designed to influence the SAF mixing as well as injection speed into the main flame, to avoid a doublernburning zone. The burner trolley was modified to be able align the kiln burner into kiln axis. A new burner management system is supplied to control the kiln burner via control room.
