Dr. Reinhold Festge, Managing Partner of HAVER εt BOECKER in Oelde, Germany, has been elected as the new president of the German Engineering Federation (VDMA) at a gathering of its members in Stuttgart on 18.10.2013. He succeeds Dr. Thomas Lindner of the Groz-Beckert KG in Albstadt, Germany. Festge is a member of the Restricted Executive Board and the Main Executive Board of the VDMA.
