Liebherr's new L 556 wheel loader at World of Concrete 2014

The new generation of Liebherr wheel loaders was presented at the 2014 World of Concrete show in Las Vegas/USA last January. The L 556 model on display belongs to the large-size range of Liebherr wheel loaders and complies with Tier 4i/stage IIIB emission standards. These new-generation machines have an optimized tipping load that further improves productivity and stability. The L 556 with Z-bar linkage for standard operations on display achieves a tipping load of 29 870 lb (13 550 kg) at an operating weight of 39460 lb (17 900 kg). The machine is equipped with a 4.7 yd3 (3.6 m~3) bucket and is driven by a 188 HP (1)/140 kW Liebherr 4-cylinder diesel engine.
