Taiwan is not resting on its laurels, and work is underway to boost the MICE sector. For example, Kaohsiung Exhibition Center (KEC), an investment by the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), aims to strengthen the development of Taiwan's MICE industry in the midst of the country's southern industrial clusters and dynamic markets. Kaohsiung is Taiwan's second-largest city, and one of Asia's major ports.
