Mattel Inc. is finally bringing Barbie to the big screen. A live-action film based on the toymaker's largest brand will star Margot Robbie, an Academy Award nominee last year for her role in /, Tonya. It's a strategy Hasbro Inc. used with Transformers to help it overtake Mattel in revenue. Mattel Chief Executive Ynon Kreiz, a Hollywood veteran, vows to create more entertainment around the company's intellectual property.
