There are pros and cons for each point of the discussion on whether or not to allow flight crew connectivity. I think that this will be only a short-term problem, since, in the very near future, human pilots will no longer be needed in any category of aircraft. I'll admit that this comment is somewhat tongue-in-cheek; however....
