Scottish traffic commissioner Joan Aitken has fined Midland Bluebird, part of First Scotland East, £14,850 following reports of bus services in the Forth Valley not operating as timetabled.rnThe company was previously called to public inquiries in 2004 and 2005 for maintenance-related matters and its Bcence authorisation was reduced then to its current limit of 297 buses. As First Edinburgh, it was subsequently fined £74,250 at a public inquiry for failing to operate local services and the traffic commissioner's office later issued a warning letter regarding other adverse service monitoring in 2007.
