A 1973 Leyland Atlantean, newly restored to the blue livery used then for Merseyside PTE services in Wirral, was the main attraction at a vehicle display on 29 November to mark the 40th anniversary of the formation of the PTE.rnTerry Morris has repainted 1365 (DKC 365L), an AN68/1R with the PTE's unique version of the Alexander AL body, in the colours that combined those of the Birkenhead and Wallasey Corporation fleets that the PTE took over,rntogether with the green-liveried Liverpool undertaking, on 1 December 1969.
