Unfair and irrelevant to focus on Victoria

I appreciate that Buses should favour the bus or coach as a means of travel, but I feel that the addition of travelling time between Waterloo and Victoria to the train journeys of David Jukes (Buses last month) is neither fair nor relevant. If travelling simply to London, then both railway stations are equally convenient for onward travel or tourism. If one specifically had to reach Victoria, then a change at Clapham Junction would be the most obvious and far quicker choice. Indeed, travel by Southern would have terminated at Victoria. One could argue that, had a railway magazine run a similar feature, adding 30mi to travel from Victoria Coach Station to Waterloo would have made the coach seem unattractive by comparison with the more direct train.
