The now annual STTS 'magazine' — it is more in the nature of a small yearbook — as ever reflects its membership's overwhelming first love of Scottish trams, especially those of Glasgow. But there is a little nostalgic bus content, mainly of Western SMT's acquisition of Young's of Paisley in 1951 and a pictorial nod to the 50th anniversary of the Alexander Y-type, as well as an informative article about Loch Tay pleasure steamers. A highly enthusiastic description of Glasgow's new Riverside transport museum may also counter the impression others of us might have conveyed of this being an architectural landmark where style.
