I read with interest the small article about the Glastonbury Festival transport operation in September Buses. I have always been surprised that few enthusiasts seem to be aware of the operations that occur around the festival and I am writing to try to explain the scope of the services provided. My company is hired by the festival to provide a free shuttle service to and from Castle Gary station. This is a journey of about 8miles. This is marketed as Rail-&-Ride, as shown in the pictures. This runs from the Wednesday before the festival to the following Monday when the festival has finished.
