Industry claims ninefold return for work travel concessions

Greener Journeys - the campaign group backed by the big four bus groups - has called for a range of UK government tax concessions to reduce youth unemployment. It says the £150million cost of its proposals would deliver nine times the return. Its Bus 2020 manifesto for the next Westminster parliament calls for a UK-wide concession providing half-fare travel for apprentices.
