Wright family acquires schoolbus builder Nu-Track

Nu-Track, the Antrim-based bodybuilder specialising in schoolbuses, accessible minibuses and mobile libraries, has become part of the Wright family of companies. In a deal announced on 20 November, Wright Group chairman Jeff Wright acquired the 20-year-old company, which was losing money. Nu-Track has around 65 employees at its factory on the Steeple Industrial Estate in Antrim and builds around 1 60 buses a year for the education boards and health trusts in Northern Ireland, and also has won business in recent years from local authorities in Scotland and England.
