Go-Ahead says congestion is cutting its profits

A second major operator has now warned of a loss of profits on London work because of increasing traffic congestion and roadworks making it harder to achieve bonuses in the Quality Incentive Contracts scheme. This time it is Go-Ahead Group, whose half-year results for the period ending 26 December record a 4.4% drop in operating profits to £21.7million in London.
