Abrupt end for ComfortDelGro's Stansted Citylink

Stansted Citylink, the ComfortDelGro-operated express coach service between the Essex airport and central London, ceased operating on 28 October, just over two years after it was introduced. Following a competitive tendering exercise, the half-hourly 767 service began on 11 October 2015 between Stansted Airport and a terminus in Midland Road, outside St Pancras International railway station and opposite the British Library. Ten new Mercedes-Benz Tourismos arrived soon after the service began, painted in a similar blue and yellow livery to the Citylink operations in Scotland and Ireland.
