Plymouth Citybus has extended farther across Cornwall with new year-round route 89 reaching the county town of Truro whilst its school holiday routes into Cornwall return during the October half-term break. Once daily off-peak weekday service 89 (Bodmin-Bugle-Truro) allows nearly 3hr in the city with a faster journey of 58min compared to 1hr 48min on First's existing hourly service 27 (Bodmin-Bugle-St Austell-Truro). The Go-Ahead subsidiary has several outstations for its Go Cornwall Bus services and the 12 contracted routes to the new post-16 Callywith College in Bodmin.
