GRC Bulletin Editorial Policies and Guidelines for Authors

The Geothermal Resources Council (GRC) Bulletin is a periodic publication (6 issues per year) that reaches the association's worldwide membership and paid subscribers. Current circulation is 1,000. The GRC Bulletin provides a technology and issues forum for professionals involved in geothermal resource research, exploration, development and utilization. The GRC Bulletin also provides news and information that highlights the environmental and economic benefits of geothermal resource development. The GRC seeks well-written, positive and interesting features for the Bulletin from qualified professionals throughout the international geothermal community. Submissions of abstracts, research papers, topical articles, commentaries and editorials on all aspects of geothermal resource research, exploration, development and utilization are encouraged. The GRC also accepts paid advertisements―please call for prices and contract information. Though highly specific technical papers are occasionally published in the Bulletin, the GRC prefers submissions of a more general nature that feature new information on techniques, processes and technologies. Articles should offer the GRC's diverse readership pertinent, up-to-date information and data on geothermal resources and development, while providing viewpoints on implications for the industry (and society, if applicable). The GRC also welcomes press releases and announcements from government organizations, companies and individuals that provide information on recent developments and interesting accomplishments related to geothermal energy resources and development. Calendar notices of geothermal and renewable energy events are always accepted.
