The Canadian Geothermal Energy Association (CanGEA) has released the Canadian Geothermal Code for Public Reporting, offering a minimum set of requirements for the public reporting of exploration results, geothermal resources, and geothermal reserves. It provides a basis for transparency, consistency, and confidence in public reports of geothermal information.rnThe code was prepared by a committee from the Canadian Geothermal Energy Association. The committee, named the Canadian Geothermal Code Committee, was established in December 2008 to create a reporting basis satisfactory to investors, stakeholders, and capital markets - and to develop a code applicable to both Canadian and international geothermal development.
