Executive Director's Message

Spring is off to an exciting start at GRC central. I delivered a bid for the GRC to host the IGA's World Geothermal Congress at the Anaheim Conference Center in 2020. Wouldn't this be a great venue to celebrate the GRC's 50th birthday! The bid was required to be delivered in person at the IGA Board meeting in Manila in the Philippines. We are competing for this honor with 5 other bidders: Chile, Germany/Netherlands, Iceland, Kenya, and the Philippines. Each country's presenter did an excellent job and several even included state of the art video. One presenter was the Minister of Energy for Kenya.
