BAI Chunli: To build CAS into an enterprising institution featuring reform, innovation and coordinated development

摘要

The 2007 CAS annual work conference was held from March 19 to 21 in Beijing. With the participation of senior administers at both academy and institute levels, the three-day meeting made arrangements for CAS tasks in the year ahead. In addition to discussions on the systematic and overall institutional reform of CAS, the participants addressed bottleneck issues that hinder the further development and shared the experience of demonstration units in this regard. By making efforts to propose and undertake key national S&T projects and further promoting the development of S&T clusters, CAS is striving to be an energetic research institution characterized by reform, innovation and cocoordinated development.
