The cartoon on the wall of Andrew Gay's office says it all. Beneath a screaming headline: "It's an Andrew Gay world!", it features the new chairman and chief executive of Drake & Scull astride his yacht, triumphantly holding aloft a dumb-bell. It is easy to imagine the scene: Mediterranean port, balmy summer's afternoon, and Gay lounging on deck sharing a bottle of Bollinger and some cracking yarns with the boys.
