Sixty four hours of plenaries, more than 1,200 parallel sessions, hundreds of stalls and more public affairs consultants than you're ever likely to get in one place until next autumn - it must be the party conference season again. Attending all three to get CITB-CS's messages across about supporting the industry and its training needs, was a fascinating experience, if challenging to the stamina. Working sessions begin at 7.45am, the last fringe events at 11.30pm. In between, on the front steps, in the corridors and around the watering holes, impassioned groups are trying to make their points to you.
