Costain names new chief executive to replace Andrew Wyllie

Costain has named a new chief executive as Andrew Wyllie leaves after 14 years heading up the firm. He will be replaced in May by Alex Vaughan, the managing director of the group's natural resources division. Wyllie joined from in 2005 from Taylor Woodrow Construction, where he was managing director, replacing Stuart Doughty. Wyllie, who became the president of the Institution of Civil Engineers last November, was in charge of Tay wood while it carried out work on the new OCS stand at the Oval cricket ground in south London.
