City watchdog extends Carillion probe to contract performance

The financial performance of Carillion's major contracts is being probed as part of an investigation into the collapsed contractor by the Financial Reporting Council (FRC). Last January, the City watchdog announced it was investigating KPMG's audits of Carillion between 2014 and 2017, and two months later it said it was looking into the conduct of two former Carillion finance directors, Richard Adam and Zafar Khan.
