Upper Ngau Tau Kok Housing Redevelopment has encouraged the participation of the community, especially the potential tenants, throughout the redevelopment process which pioneers a model for future housing projects. Throughout the 7-year redevelopment cycle, the designers' key concerns were the human factors: the living culture of the local residents and the integration of the housing and public realm with the unique character of the site.
