In Hong Kong, the Taikoo Place redevelopment project will unfold over the course of the next few years. It involves replacing three techno centres by phases with two high specifications Grade-A commercial office towers. The redevelopment will provide about two million sq ft of leading-edge Grade A office space of a scale and quality that will enhance Hong Kong's status as a regional and international financial and business hub. By reducing the buildings' footprint, the plan will also provide a new landscaped square of approximately 69,000 square feet - similar in size to Statue Square in Central, which will benefit those who work in Taikoo Place and the community as a whole.
