RAF site scheme granted planning

Planning and listed building consent has been granted for a residential development at RAF Bent-ley Priory, home to Battle of Britain pilots in the second world war.rnThe grade II listed priory (pictured) and park at Harrow Weald, north-west London, were built in 1766, and the house was extended by John Soane in 1788. The new design by Nigel Anderson of Robert Adam Architects, for VSM Estates, comprises 103 luxury flats and a museum. The practice will also undertake restoration and conservation work.
