Hare's zinc-clad theatre takes centre stage at Crawley college

Nicholas Hare Architects' ￡2.7 million extension of the Thomas Bennett Community College in Crawley, West Sussex, has started on site. The l,070sq m, two-storey extension is located to the south of the east wing of the original college building, which the practice designed in 2003-04. The building comprises a studio theatre on the ground floorand educational facilities, including a support centre for pupils with speciat needs, plus classrooms, chill-out rooms, and small meeting rooms and offices for staff.
