Five UK firms head to the heart of Doha

Five British practices are to design the next phase of Qatar's $5.5 billion Musheireb project in the historic centre of Doha. Michel Mossessian, Eric Parry, John McAslan & Partners, Squire & Partners and Mangera Yvars will be working alongside lead consultant Gensler, which is coordinating the design team for phase three of the 35ha development. They are all working to the original masterplan created by Aecom in 2009 with Arup and Allies & Morrison.
