Greenwich library plans revealed

Heneghan Peng Architects has submitted ￡76 million plans for the University of Greenwich's new library and school of architecture and construction proposed for the World Heritage Site in southeast London. The practice plans to restore the traditional curved street line of Stockwell Street with a glazed frontage on to a gallery, cafe and exhibition space. The proposals include a public area at the front and a path linking StockweU Street with King William Walk alongside the railway cutting. Sedum and wild flowers will be planted on the roof.
