Out of the office

It can be a no-brainer for contemporary artists to be antagonistic towards corporate architecture, with the attitude falling into the lexicon of art writing: to accuse an artist of producing work destined for the office foyer is an ultimate dig at selling conceptuality out to pure (nice and shiny) aesthetics. Sam Griffin's first UK solo show however, investigates the architecture of capitalism from a critical standpoint but importantly maintains a respect and obvious material interest in the aesthetic.
