Clarifications

Julyan Wickham wishes to point out that when he resigned as a trustee of the AA Council in 2008 it was not because he frequently disagreed with the direction the AA was pursuing, as stated by AA director Brett Steele (BD September 21). His resignation letter to the association's then chairman, Jim Eyre, clearly stated why he had to resign and that he was confident the AA was in good hands at that time.
