Studio Egret West submits £200m plan to turn historic factory into homes

Studio Egret West has submitted plans for a £200m mixed-use scheme in Greenwich, south-eastLondon.The scheme, called Faraday Works, involves turning the Victorian former Siemens Brothers factoryinto 492 new homes.Built in the 1860s, the factory, once the largest in London and set up by a member of the Siemensfamily, the German industrial group, manufactured communication cables until its closure in 1968.
