Associated research has also been carried out at the University of Nevada in parallel with the development of the bridge project - a Partnership for Innovation project funded by the National Science Foundation was completed in August of this year, and the final report into another research programme, this one funded by the National Cooperative Highway Research Program, is due to be published imminently.
