MUSEUMS ANNOUNCE TRANSFORMATIVE PHOTOGRAPHY ACQUISITIONS

The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art is presenting Taking Place: Photographs from the Prentice and Paul Sack Collection, one of the largest photography exhibitions ever mounted at the museum, through September 6. Accompanied by a 240-page catalogue, profusely and exquisitely illustrated, Taking Place includes 285 vintage prints that span the history of the medium from 1840 to the mid-1970s.
