It was during a meditation retreat that Swedish photographer Joakim Eneroth first received the creative inspiration that resulted in his magnum opus, entitled Without End. Exploiting the unique charac-teristics of pinhole photography as well as various experimental technical manipulations, Eneroth examines the essential question of whether man creates his environment, or whether the environment in fact creates man. "Reality and consciousness are constructed from an. accumulation of experiences, and I wanted to show through photography how reality is a flowing stream of impressions and imprints that are constantly changing and affecting us and forming who we ate," says the Stockholm-based photographer and practicing Buddhist.
