DAN FAUCI

Dan Fauci has worked on Wall Street and in Hollywood. He has been in turn a photographer, actor, securities analyst, teacher, and writer, director and producer in both motion pictures and television. Throughout this storied life, there has run a constant thread: photography. An extremely visual person, he has been taking pictures for as long as he can remember. He has also been a passionate collector of photographs for almost 30 years, with almost 100 different photographers in his collection. Fauci grew up in Brooklyn, earning a degree in economics and history from Brooklyn College. During the 1960s, he worked on Wall Street but decided to return to his first love—acting. He started teaching, eventually becoming director of the Actor's Institute in Manhattan. Even then, he would hang photographs on the walls to visually stimulate his students. As his students became famous, he turned to producing, and moved to Los Ange es 18 years ago. This move was the jump start to his collection.
