It was no surprise that for the second consecutive year The Huffington Post declared Denmark the "happiest country in the world." Mention Copenhagen and what comes to mind are stereotypes encompassing tall, attractive, educated people living liberal and sexually permissive lifestyles in a climate short on sunlight and heavy on precipitation. It seems a city with a boundless architectural heritage, low unemployment and a casual, low-impact relationship to organized religion. But given even a hurried glance at Jens Juul's Six Degrees of Copenhagen series one might think that they've somehow gone adrift on the cold North Sea.
