Anatol M. Zhabotinsky (1938-2008)

摘要

A tribute to Anatol M. Zhabotinsky (1938-2008), an outstanding physicist known worldwide as one of the founders of the study of oscillatory processes in chemistry, biochemistry and biology, is presented. The study of auto oscillatory chemical reactions in a homogeneous medium was the core of Zhabotinsky's PhD thesis in 1964. Zhabotinsky emigrated from Russia to the US in 1991, when he began working at Brandeis University in Massachusetts.
