As a packaging professional dealing with many elements of single-serve beverage packaging, I have witnessed the gradual (and sometimes rapid) growth of innovative labeling techniques used for beverage packaging. In the world of beverage packaging, labeling technologies have dramatically improved the dynamic presence proffered by a package on the shelf. The major labeling techniques being used by beverages today are: Pressure-sensitive Cut-and-stack (paper or film) Shrink-sleeve Roll-fed (film, shrink film) Applied color label (ACL).
