2009 Was another challenging year for businesses, but manyrnof the Top 100 beverage companies managed to hold close to prior sales levels or even increase sales. While the companies in the top 10 stayed the same as the prior year, Heineken NV inched ahead of SABMiller. In the top 10, only Heineken NV, PepsiCo Inc. and Diageo reported global net beverage sales gains in 2009.
