Artemis Intl., a supplier of dark berry extracts and flavonoid-rich nutraceutical ingredients, launched its new Berryceuticals brand. The company's Berryceuticals portfolio includes extracts from elderberries, aroniaberries, bilberries, cranberries, blueberries, black currants and more, the company says. The health benefits of these dark-colored berries are supported by mounting scientific evidence surrounding the flavonoids that are abundant in these berries. Artemis' Berryceuticals provide the concentrated and natural phytonutrient benefits of dark berries in ingredient forms that are used in a wide range of health-and-wellness-focused products, it adds. Edlerberries, and the immunity-enhancing benefits of this berry, will be the focus of Artemis International's Berryceuticals portfolio this year, the company says. Artemis elderberry extracts are produced through a proprietary process called Holistic Membrane Extraction, which delivers the whole fruit matrix in final-ingredient form for maximizing extract efficacy.
